That’s a fair question; Hey there, I’m Sahar! I’m a photographer based in Connecticut. I graduated from UConn (go Huskies!) in Winter of 2022 with a degree in psychology—you’ll still hear me spouting off random facts about the brain now and then.

My interest in the human mind quickly shifted to the arts and how we see and love beauty in images and design: photography turned into my way to explore and share my love of the arts and a way to honor my degree.

Wait, who are you?

Honestly? My brother-in-law and sister-in-law were starting a business, and halfway through 2023 my partner and I stopped to visit them—they asked me if I wanted to look at the menus.

I took a look, and they told me what changes they’d like to see; I made those changes and nearly 6 months later, the menus that I designed were printed and hung up at Cha Papi. During that 6-month period I met one of my now closest photographer friends, bought a camera, and found myself doing product shoots, content creation, and graphic design work for them! Now I’m booking more clients throughout the rest of this year and into 2025!
